Total Devastation

A few hours ago this used to be our kitchen. It is amazing what destructive and then constructive powers our builders possess. Most of the old stuff is in the skip and a few other old appliances quickly spotted by a passing Scrap Merchant. It is like a scene from an interrogation room in a book by John Le Carre or a police thriller.

Like a 'Phoenix from the Ashes' or a Pupa metamorphosing into a beautiful butterfly, we hope this new kitchen and utility construction will now start to take shape. It will be fascinating to watch.

We can only hope that our present social construction will match the eventual reality (another social construction but one founded on different information and experiences).
