My favourite waste of time.....

.....is wandering round little traditional  French hill villages in the sunshine , having coffee in the  village square, listening to the church bells , going into shops selling soaps and local produce, walking up steep steps lined with sleepy cats dozing under hollyhocks sprouting from the rocks ,to ancient churches, eating a huge salad Nicoise at a cafe, and then finding a delicious ice cream. That's what we did today. 
After that we cycled to the Lac St Croix for a dip in the lovely clean cool water, then we came back and had pizzas from a wood fired pizza place on our campsite. We drank local Luberon red wine and a Gris wine ( sort of rosé. ) A perfect day.
