All phases in one

This wild strawberry was still blooming, but it also had an almost ripe berry. I noticed the strawberries on the edge of the field when I was leaving after the last load of silage. I took a few photos and ate a couple of berries. The first wild strawberries this summer.

The day went quite well. The weather was suitable for spraying in the morning, so I did the last batch of that. Silage harvest proceeded well, although twisting the fuse holder of the preservative pump became far too familiar thing to do. At the end of the day I dug deep into the spare part arsenal and found a substitute which will replace the old one tomorrow morning.

Less loads in the pit than on Tuesday though, but the reason is that then the fields were just across the road, so I didn't even need to detach the chopper to tip the load, now the fields are further away and small, which means more time spent on the road with the trailer to bring the silage home and without it towing the chopper between fields.

Temperature up to +28°C and showers around, but not a drop here. Quite hot in the tractor despite better ventilation than the old tractor.
