Poppies by the sea

We spent some time this morning by the waters edge in St Peter Port and found a small crop of poppies very close to the water. There is something so delicate about them. They dance so freely in the breeze. The weather is improving for the weekend which is excellent news :)
The sun had just risen on the extra which seems to make the poppies a little translucent.
