Allotment after 4 weeks away

Jet lag hit Susan last night. I was fine, although tonight may be different!

We managed Rock Choir this morning which was another uplifting session.

The afternoon was devoted to some of the many tasks you have to do when you’ve been away. Not much washing though.

Visited the supermarket for our shopping and Doreen’s. This was a rare visit as usually it’s delivered. Had to remove loads of side shoots from the tomatoes and replace the cucumbers as they’d failed while we were away.

Finally went down to the allotment to see the damage. Mares Tails have taken over along with many other weeds. Otherwise, the rain has helped to keep things lush and green. Will be making a start on those weeds tomorrow afternoon
