Doris

Callie walked through the woods with company.

Work attended.

Got a swarm call out at work. Bees on first floor windowsill. Organised to get them after football.

Ran to coaching. Great fun session on goalkeeping and volleying. Finished with a fun shooting game.

Home and packed for swarm collection. Ladders boxes and bee suit.

The bees were on the window and in the bits around the window. A good spray of cold water and I managed to get most first time. Brought the box down the ladder and was up and down catching the stragglers until almost all collected.

Doris watched this all from her window where the bees had rested. She chatted about her mother in law keeping bees during ww2 in give and loving honey. Her neighbour have me tea and told me about her grandad who kept bees to pay for family weddings in Slovakia.

Said good bye and took swarm to apiary to walk into a hive. Did it by Head torch as it was dark.

Home and bed.
