Winter Equinox . . . Day 2

The day was from 9.30 am till 4. 30 pm.  We left the visitors to their own devices on the main street of Masterton so they could browse the shops.  We went to the supermarket and grocery shopped for supplies for the hunting lodge.  Then it was down to Carterton for a delicious cafe lunch and onto Paua World.  It has a well stocked  shop of Paua shell jewellery and other nic nacs.  The women took a long time choosing.  Drive home and A's husband greeted us with a gin for me and a beer for her.  He has cooked curry for dinner and it is smelling wonderful.
Our friends wife had a long walk on the beach and last night she had a full nights sleep with no interuptions.
