Our Visitor!

I nearly fell over early this afternoon when I looked out from the kitchen window and saw this beautiful Wombat munching away on the grass between the pavers. I think in the 20 years I’ve lived here I have only seen a Wombat twice in daylight hours. I couldn’t believe my luck when he posed for me after quietly opening the sliding door. I can happily say he/she looked very healthy. He/she didn’t hang around for long and headed off behind the Billabong and down into the bushes. It was a rare sighting and I’m delighted to be able to share it with my Blip Buddies.
