Sweet and Sour

There is an excellent selection of Italian food and drink specialties in the departures lounge of Malpensa Terminal 1. Despite the photo these are not limited to sweets and Limoncello.

Our flight was half an hour late leaving Malpensa due to air traffic congestion at Schiphol. As a result we looked to have a short connection at Amsterdam, but in fact we made it easily and even had time for a little shopping. Unfortunately our luggage was not so lucky and missed the connection.

We got a text message as we arrived in Aberdeen to say our luggage was not on the plane and would be on a later flight. It should be delivered on Friday.
