'Powder Tower'

This tower is next to the Municipal House in the Stare Mesto (Old Town).

It was originally a Gothic city gateway, then in the 14th century it was used as a starting point for coronation processions.

The tower became a powder tower in the 17th century, when it was used to store gunpowder.
