Clasps galore

It’a been a good start to the weekend.

An older Indian neighbour (in our culture, any older lady around your mum’s age is an aunty), invited me to lunch this afternoon. I was touched and surprised by the invite and delighted to go.

There were many other ‘aunties’ there and I really did feel like a babe amongst them.

It was a lovely lunch and I enjoyed getting to know some other people who’ve lived in Hong Kong for decades and learn from them.

Then off to Sham Shui Po to meet Martin to pick up some things we needed. The place is just buzzing and so colourful. Here’s an abundance of bag clasps/clips. Happy to take orders of anyone needs some. Every size you can imagine ...

Then we headed to Tsuen Wan, a place I’ve never been to before. It was quite local and once we got what we were looking for, we walked back to the MTR, taking in this part of Hong Kong.

Home to finish off Season 1 of Prison Break ... goodness, do people know how to get themselves in some serious .... trouble!!!!
