Hogweed?

A long day but home now.
Think this is the notorious Giant Hogweed rather than Cow Parsley, whatever it was looking beautiful in the evening light.

As we were at the hospital we missed Kitty’s sports day at school but l received messages and a photograph (see extra) to tell me she had won both the 100m and the high jump.

We called into Waitrose on the way home. for a coffee and a much needed treat for Mr P as he hadn’t been able to eat since early morning.

While there l remembered to buy the local newspaper which had an article about the girls : Kitty has just scored 98% in her recent dance exam. It also mentioned that Ruby had gained a distinction in her recent RAD exam with the highest mark from her group, passed her assessment and can continue as an associate at Northern Ballet and has been asked to dance with The National Youth Ballet again in the summer and will dance again at Sadler’s Wells in London. Verity didn’t get her photograph in the paper but it did mention she has also passed her assessment at Northern Ballet and will also continue as an associate at Northern Ballet.
Can’t put my extra on as it’s telling me l gave no photographs in my library, strange as l have over 16, 000 there !
