Plateau de Valensole.

We have moved into the Luberon via the Plateau de Valensole,  famous for its lavender fields.  Unfortunately the lavender is not quite out but this field looked stunning.

We also called at the Chateau Val Joanis for a degustation.   We had a bottle of their wine with a meal in Castellan a couple of days ago so we bought a few bottles to take home.   The girl at reception said we could lay it down for 5 years - some hope!
