Remembering Sam

This afternoon my dear friend Sam died after a long, painful illness. One of my oldest friends, I have known her for over 40 years. She set up a babysitting circle in Ware. My son Neil was about 3 so I was one of the first members. Our friendship grew over the years. We went to college as "mature" students together, we did an unhappy primary teaching practice in the same school (we were both qualifying for secondary age range but were required to do 6 weeks in a primary school). We shared many adventures!

She was one of my best friends and I will miss her very much. There were still so many things she wanted to do. God bless you, Sam xxxx
