OQO Your Coffee Nook/Emma Hall Hair
It's fine to take just one photograph in a day, so long as it's the right photograph. Here is one relatively new addition to the roster of #leithwalkshops - the gift that keeps giving (at least it gives me something to blip when all else fails). And one that has been rebranded. In 2016 OQO Your Coffee Nook was the Nordic Affär, and Emma Hall hadn't rebranded herself as an organic hairdresser (whatever that means...I assume it refers to the products used, not to whether or not hair is organic, which is clearly is).
The last day of work on the flat. All sorted, I think. Fingers crossed. And legs, and toes. Mr A and I went to the supermarket early doors, and then I cycled up the north face of the New Town to work, before cycling back down the Walk to go to a class at the Council gym. Good progress on the writing front. I sorted out Chapter 2 - well, more or less. And then after thinking about things on the way home and as I was having dinner, I decided to do a bit of structural surgery on the book, and create shorter three chapters where previously there was one long one. It gives me a bit of leeway. Hoping to get those three chapters finished by the end of July, which leaves me August to write three more. Hmmmm. Hopefully. Deadline is the end of August, and I really want to make it.
I've tried to take this picture before in the morning when the sun in on the other side (i.e. the buildings are in the sun). It was too bright to see what I was doing. I like this one, in the shade, with the added extra of the buildings on the other side of Leith Walk reflected in the windows.
