Summer Solstice

Last year I had hoped to take a photo of the sunset from my usual place (the bedroom window) to compare with the winter position, but we were elsewhere on the night.
Determined not to miss the opportunity this year, I set the kitchen timer to remind me and so was at the window, camera ready, in good time.
Here it is, setting in the northwest, behind the Cleish Hills, compared with a winter setting in the southwest (which is way to the left of my window).
