Laser Kill

ZAAAAAAAAP!!! This is grandson Cooper shooting me with his new high tech "laser gun". It is complete with digital sound effects and weaponry "readout" on a little screen informing him of how much power he has left, how many hits he has made and how many times he has been shot. (If you get hit three times you're DEAD!)

I was high mindedly despairing of this child culture of violence and slaughter until I recalled my own youth, spent running around with replica six guns, loaded with gun powder caps, pretending to shoot my brothers and school friends - because they were indians and outlaws. I was always the sheriff of course and veeeeery quick on the draw.

T'was ever thus I suppose.
