Hanging Around

Sneaked down while family were tucked up asleep in bed; threw open the doors downstairs to get a few shots on the bird table. Knew it was then or never with a full house. Blue tit families on the feeder, a few great tits but not much else. This was especially the case when people kept coming into the room saying, 'Good morning!' in a cheery way, then every bird in the vicinity would all clear off at speed.

Tea for parents in bed, coffees all round, lunch and then The Hobbit, which was a tad long in parts but with stunning scenery! Treated thankfully to a pub meal so no cooking tonight! Yippee!
