Construction Work

This is a picture of a poster ... just to be clear.  It's one of those humongous posters hanging in the hall of the Amphia Hospital to give everyone a feel about what's going on in connection with the completion of the new wings, some of which are already done.

AW had to go to his appointment to follow-up on the size of his aorta, an x-ray of which was done last week, if you'll recall.  The appointment had already been made last year.  Between then and now, his aorta hasn't increased in size at all, and is actually still within the 'safe zone', meaning we've nothing to worry about for now and most likely for some time to come.  A new appointment has been pinpricked for 2024.  Hopefully no enlargement yet by that time.

In the meantime, his back continues to improve, although rather slowly, but that is within expectations.

Spent some time today to-and-fro-ing with the Viking, updating marks, some housekeeping, some reading.  AW and I have exchanged our sides of the bed and I think I don't want to return to 'my' original side, as my current mattress suits me just fine, and he says the same.

Outside, not much weather for flower shots, although it isn't as dark as we thought it would be.
