Breath of the Steppe

Finally, we got to the goal of our journey. Having driven more than 1,000 km (more than a day on the train), we arrived at my wife's homeland late at night. Her parents live in a village in one of the steppe districts (raions) of the Kherson Oblast.

We have not been here for 5 years and really missed the South, the wind and the sky of the Great Steppe, the local special air.

Our kids are happy to see their grandparents and re-discover this amazing land, this place. They were born and lived here, but they have already forgotten a lot.
