Whoopee - it arrived

An adapter arrived today that I thought would never get here - I ordered it over 3 weeks ago!!

Oh - better explain - it allows me to use my old M42 screw thread lens on my new Canon DSLR - including this Tamron SP lens that I got for my 21st birthday and it is a brilliant lens!!

Only problem is that it doesn't communicate with the camera in any way so I need to get used to how the camera works like this - it appears that I can used the metering system but only in 'live view' mode. Anyway - new toy to play with!!

Oh - and it cost only £3.25 including delivery - AND I saw a MASSIVE 500 mm lens on ebay this morning very cheap - and I am sure I have a 3x multipler around somewhere!!
