oh the potential....

of a blank piece of paper, ready to get started on!

It's been a bit of a broken up day ~ new people moving into the A cabin so that had to be cleaned...and the folks that were here before were a bit sloppy...the place was a mess! then someone called to see if the pottery was open....had to head over to a frigid studio and unpack pots from the last market....then they came and luckily bought a few pieces. In between i was trying to continue with the reorganization of my work space up here....and i tried to fix the painting i started a couple of days ago! All a wee bit frustrating, but not totally....i am being gentle with myself, could easily fall into the 'that's a piece of shit....' mindset.... but i am a beginner and pastels are a wonderful medium, but also tricky to manage at times! i can see there are parts of the one i didn't finish that were ok....you gotta decide when to stop flogging the almost dead horse i say!!!

so, now with some more explorations and the promise of a somewhat uninterrupted tomorrow ~ i'm feeling excited at the prospect of entering a new painting!
