A mini- butterfly!

When walking our dogs this morning, my wife spotted this wee beauty sitting on a buttercup. I think it’s a small copper. He sat long enough for me to take his photo. I don’t think I’ve seen one before, but they’re so small, just about two centimetres, that it would be easy to miss them.
We then went down to the caravan site to put up a marquee for the caravanners. It is quite large, 6m X 10 m but we had a few helpers.
I picked some new tatties from our allotment and when I washed them, I found this rather unusual duck seen in the extras.
I have no idea what breed it is but it might make some nice Duck Soup!!!
