Experiences of Exile

Powerful images of life in the refugee jungle camp at Calais (see extra) form part of the Experiences of Exile exhibition/event  held at Stirling University this week. 
 
They are the work of Iman Tajik, an Iranian artist and award-winning photographer. He is seen here standing next to Fiona Clasen, member of staff, and is in discussion with Syrian refugees about their cultural differences.
 
They may have cultural dissimilarities but one thing they all share in common: they are all refugees trying to make a new home for themselves in Scotland.
