Almost midnight

I was reading 'The Moon Sister'  by Lucinda Riley and had just finished the book when I realised it was 11.50 pm and was still quite light.  So I picked up the camera to get a quick shot of the midsummer night sky.  There have been some lovely sunsets but I am usually in bed as they are so late in the summer.
