Solstice - Iona

It was the perfect day to make the journey to Iona - here is John Smith’s Grave - a true statesman . We had a tear in our eye as we looked at it . He also died the same day as my Mum.
We had looked round the Abbey before but it was a treat to see it again . The carvings in the courtyard are wonderful.
It was a beautiful sunset at 10:15 pm - do enjoy the long days here .
