Extreme gardening

Started at 7.30 this morning and worked miracles. I was on fire. If there had been an Olympic sport category for bindweed pulling I would have taken gold.

The gloves came off late afternoon. Trip to the farm shop and the garden centre. Actually had time with a beer and a comic in a comfy chair whilst TSM made supper and the sun sank slowly behind the timber yard. I say comic; It was a rather excellent edition of TIME magazine with a worrying account of a new wave of antisemitism and a cover picture of Donald Trump where he looks like he is being portrayed in a film by Charlie Sheen.

Lovely long face time with TGR in Canada. She had a fab time on her 75km Vancouver Island hike. Looked great on it. Things going well at work too.

Lovely day. Very therapeutic.
