Downtown

A slow day after too much gin-fuelled karaoke revelry last night. I spent the second half of the afternoon in the downtown Baixa (which literally translated just means ‘low’) area of Maputo, wandering and sitting in a simple café. This is the large Praça dos Trabalhadores (Workers’ Square) in front of the railway station, which is known amongst enthusiasts to be a relatively aesthetically pleasing one.
