(Terrestrial) mudlarks

There's a local festival tradition here to throw sweets at children on the floats. Immediately after the last float, these urchins swarmed over the road collecting fallen goodies.  The sweets may not be in best condition, but at least these kids have less chance of losing an eye ;-)
