Harlech Castle...

A glorious day...after a fairly short walk we stopped to visit a skate quarry which was very interesting. Then we walked on a while and onto the beach and on to Harlech.
Our leader had told me it would be fine to swim but since I would have to walk up from the beach to the meeting point (so that I knew where to meet the bus) and then back to the beach and then up again I decided against it and left my bathers and wrap at home. I rather regretted that decision because I did paddle and it felt very warm but the dye was cast so instead I visited the castle.
