Concoction #1

Here's Hannah's first concoction from her big Christmas gift. This is the filling for the carrot cake whoopie pies she made (shhhh, they were from a *cough* mix I had in the pantry...a break from her typical all-homemade rule).

Sadly, this evening, we took down the Christmas tree. It was so dry, that the needles fell when you brushed against it. A fire hazard, it had to go. I've always kept the tree up until New Year's Day, but not this year. As much as I miss the prettiness, it does feel good to have that area cleaned.
