Au Revoir Horsey

After saying goodbye to horsey (see extra)at the champagne chateau it was 3 hours of easy driving through the vineyards and Vosges foothills to Alsace. The hotel in Riquewihr is just outside the gate into the old principal street. Once again our room is overlooking vineyards, But this time the slope is steeper and the rows of vines seem more closely spaced. 
 
A swim in the pool and then out for dinner this evening.  I chose my annual fix of sauerkraut washed down with a delicious gewürztraminer.
