The Pond

Is coming on well.  The plants around it are towering (foxgloves, verbena etc . . .) although the bamboos are still rather small, and the wildlife is wonderful.

It's a delight to sit quietly, watch and listen.  We can ignore the sound of the traffic on our street with that beech hedge in the way.

I was asked to take this photo by the gardener in the family; the Extra shot is of our garden from the street, with me in the distance making sure that I didn't lose my expensive little drone.
