Very early outing.

Dad had pushed off to bother a female swan on the other pond leaving Mum and their four day old cygnets to their own devices. Mum did get out twice to follow him, calling them  but the bank was too steep for the little ones. Their nest is right at the far end of this pond so this was quite an ambitious trip for them.
The predawn sky was amazing. The reason I did not post it as my blip today was that it was a bit of a blank canvas the swans still being in bed at the far end of the pond, and I wanted to share the cygnets with you, they are so lovely. You can see it in my extras.
