Flying visit

Am briefly in Edinburgh to deal with some family business. Tonight though we all ignored the elephant in the room and drank wine. Tomorrow may be tricky, but then I get to journey home in a ridiculously complicated way to round it all off.

Meanwhile, a heat wave started at home and a quick review of twitter showed that the world is broken. Hell in a handcart, as an erstwhile citizen of these parts was wont to say.
