This morning I met up early with Marianne and Ed to walk the 1000 steps in the Dandenong Ranges National Park, now also known as the Kokoda Walk in memory of the famous track in Papua New Guinea, the site of a battle with the Japanese in world war 2.
Since I was there last (about 20 years ago) it has gained in popularity to the point that it is amazingly busy. Still, it was a fun workout with M and E and we shared a nice cup of tea afterwards with some treats left over from Christmas.
