Munching on Poppies

After the celebrations of the last three days, we said goodbye to all our friends, some of whom were headed right back to the east coast and others who were staying in L.A. for a while longer, and we headed off to the Santa Barbara Botanical Gardens located up in the hills overlooking Santa Barbara.  We are staying here for a few more days before we move on.

The gardens were lovely, with only native California wildflowers and plants, including some magnificent giant redwoods.  These orange California poppies are everywhere and this tiny little bunny was enjoying them immensely.
