A reminder of what summer used to look like!

I took this in the summer of 2006, when I accompanied a friend for a day in the lake district UK..came across a folder full of similat views yesterday and thought I would bend the rules to share it...the view is of Skiddaw Mountain in the Cumbrian area of the Lake District, looking across from Derwent Water...Skiddaw is 900 metres high and takes around five hours to climb...not that I have ever climbed it ...step ladders are my limit:)
