Tongariro Te Mari Crater

Tongariro has erupted from this spot twice this year possibly going into what they call an eruptive episode that could go on for months. The last on was on Nov 21.
Me and Taz are heading south to Wellington for the Christmas thing and just had to go the long way to see if we can get a bit of a view of this. Overcast and a bit dull over the mountain but nonetheless it shows up quite well.
