Global change

We've just celebrated our 46th wedding anniversary. One of our wedding presents was a world globe, and over the years there've been many changes to names and places shown on it. This shot of the globe shows part of East Africa including the country of Tanganyika, which became Tanzania in a union with the islands of Zanzibar and Pemba.
