The plague be upon us
On regular days, i.e. those with a "y" in them, Mrs Ottawacker is a picture of good health.
Just not today. Today the plague arrived, bearing with it oozing pustules of black from below armpits, festering canker sores, and a slightly woozy feeling when trying to stand up quickly.
Overnight it worsened, and caused her to miss her second day of work in a decade. Rapidly diagnosed by our friendly-if-inept quack at Appletree (you'll remember them!) as a "sor'troat", antibiotics were recommended.
And taken.
And lo! Pustules have vanished, black ooze has gone, and the "sor'troat" has disappeared from our household.
