Power?

Can anyone start one of these using their thumb? I've lost my string and need some tips.

Had a wander round town today and popped onto the tram mock up on Princess Street. It was ok, I mean it feels just like being on a bus and we already have them to try as I may I still can't see the point in them. Seats were quite comfy though.
