Flowers fade fast, leaves last longer!

Another day at home - outdoors sometime potting plants, indoors sometimes scraping the grouting off the bath, thanks to a horrific DIY job by the previous owners, who obviously grouted with the fist!

Here's a crate of foliage;  starting from top left - Veratrum nigrum, Fatsia polycarpa 'Green Fingers', Hippeastrum 'Red Lion', Podophyllum (species unknown) and Rodgersia (species unknown).

Community Council meeting this evening - I have an item on the agenda. Why did I agree to join?
