The Five Sisters of Kintail

We stayed at the Kintail Outdoor Centre, Functional, plenty of hot water, good showers, big kitchen, altogether a pleasant place to stay for the weekend. 

Saturday nine am we set off from the car park to do the Five Sisters. A long S shaped ridge with lots of sharp bumps along the way. It stayed cool and breezy with not a spot of rain. 

The whole ridge took us eleven hours. We didn't get back to the hostel till eight pm. Tired, aching and a bit grubby nobody could even be bothered going down to the hotel for a drink. We just stayed in and cooked the food we'd brought and went to bed early. 

A grand day out, with wonderful views and some good banter.
