Deluge

If I’d known how bad the rain was going to be today there’s no way I’d have left the house! But I had to exchange something for dad so went to the Gyle shopping centre and while there the rain was epic.

Unlike the sensible ladies here I made a run for it, splashing through the flooded car park where fortunately my car wheels were not half engulfed!

The fun didn’t stop there as trying to leave the Gyle was slow progress - sections of road flooded. and when I finally escaped the traffic was backed up everywhere.

A 10 minute journey took 70 mins.
