Younger And Older
We were out in the front garden with the Grandchildren. Over the weekend we'd been doing a lot of talking about trees. We even brought a Dorling Kinderdersley, (now known as DK), book with us. Leaves had come out on the trees since we were last here.
Daniel picked a couple of holly leaves. He was amazed. They were bright and soft and the points on the leaves weren't prickly. He then looked for one of the sharp, dark leaves and brought it to his granddad. That gave them a chance to chat about things changing as they get older. A bit like the two of them, they concluded!
