Fitness Class as usual this afternoon and then shopping. Came home through the park so I could get my Mono Monday shot.  The theme is "Composition - of anything Outdoors".  My blip shows part of the adventure playground in the park - empty on a wet Monday afternoon. Thanks to laurie54 for hosting

When I got home Colin wasn't here.  A lady from Environmental Health had called round at 3pm to take him back to his flat to discuss the work they are planning to do.

Later on I went to Slimming Club ( Colin was still not back ).  Lost 1.5 pounds this week.

Back home to make a start on tea.  Colin arrived back at around 7.15pm. He seems happy enough with what's going to happen re the work at his flat.


Football news - ignore this if football isn't your thing.

Sad times at Newcastle United - their Manager Rafa Benitez today announced he would leave the club.  I'm annoyed and upset to see him go.  He was a real asset to the club and loved the fans and city.  I don't blame him for leaving as the owner Mike Ashley is so tightfisted that he won't spend money on good new players and he has no ambition.  He has put the club up for sale - but nothing seems to be happening with that.  The price of season ticket has increased and the new home shirt which went on sale this week is the most expensive shirt of all the Premier League teams.  Its all about the money for Ashley.  The loyal fans have been very badly treated. So - a new manager needs to be found - and possibly a new owner. Its hard to feel optimistic.
