My hair and eyes have been struggling with the frequent chlorine immersions so I popped to the sports shop and enlisted the help of a fab assistant who let me try the goggles on.

They are both going to take some getting used to. Turns out goggles have improved somewhat in the past 40 years since I last wore any. I can see far far more detail of the bottom of the pool and other people’s near naked bodies than I either need or want. V busy tonight, pesky fair weather swimmers!

And Will has been spotted feeding a goat in Normandy this morning according to Twitter. He wasn’t in the evening video of cartwheeling people on a beautiful looking beach though.
