Mair ...

Final  (work-related) meeting with one of my direct reports this morning as she will be on holiday when I get back from mine for my final few days. D-day is getting closer and closer and approaching at an increasing speed !

This was followed by a meeting at St Andrews House which went well and which concluded with a classic elevator encounter (which I wasn't expecting and hence prepared for but just goes to show they do happen?

Popped up to Calton Hill afterwards (well it would have been rude not to) where this OurWullie statue is the closest we had to blue skies today.

We spoke about many things at book group last night and including a short conversation of these - the general conclusion being that they a rather unslighty/slightly creepy. I am reminded of the stone angles in Dr Who and now have visions of the OorWullie statutes coming to life and taking us over !
