Day in Sintra

We just decided to go to Sintra yesterday, after knowing it's actually quite easy to go there by train, and castles looked interesting in the google pictures. Red and yellow colors. Like those in wonderland. Thanks god we made the decision. Sintra really worthed a full day trip.

There we first had a lunch of traditional portugese style. cod fish and potate wrapped in big vegetable leaves. Pretty nice, resembling to the ones we usually have in hong kong with sticky rice instead.

We moved on to the palace de pena where we had fun going ups and downs and taking loads of photos again.

And it comes to part where I unexpectedly find myself enjoy the most. We wandered around the Pena Park. We saw animal ranches, swan lake, little frogs, and these lovely ants all moving feather-like things (that appear to come off from plants?). It is really addictive to see them do the hard work transporting them. I assume they are using them to build houses?
